The Supreme Court will take up an abortion case regarding Mississippi’s recent abortion ban in their next term, which begins in October. This gives the court the chance to overturn Roe v. Wade, which means that we must pray every day for this monumental opportunity.
In addition, abortion news in Texas is looking very bright! Governor Abbot signed a bill into law recently which will effectively ban abortions in Texas of those unborn humans with a detectable heartbeat. This bill is unique in that instead of being enforced by the government, it has been designed to be able to be enforced by any private citizen. Anyone who knows of an abortion provider who breaks this law by providing abortions after heartbeat is detected can sue the abortion provider directly. This makes the bill harder to stop.
